Dwight Coleby 6-foot-9, 240-pounds; Class of 2017

Another player in the transfer market who will make an impact on whatever team he chooses is Dwight Coleby. He is a 6-foot-9, 240-pound transfer who brings a lot of size to the table.

Coleby came out of high school as a wanted recruit. He was a three-star prospect who was the No. 26 center in the class of 2013. When Coleby ended his recruitment, he finally settled on Ole Miss as his landing spot.

In the first season Coleby was with the Rebels he played a decent number of minutes. He averaged 10 minutes, 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. The following season he continued to increase his numbers. He finished his sophomore campaign averaging 16.5 minutes, 5.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

After his second year with Ole Miss, Coleby decided to transfer away from the program and ended up committing to the Kansas Jayhawks. The one year with the Jayhawks was not good for Coleby. He only averaged 5.6 minutes, 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Coleby is looking for a landing spot where he can play a lot of minutes and shine. He can have that at Illinois because they need someone who can fill the lane. Coleby would fit perfectly with the Illini and getting him would be a big accomplishment for Underwood.
