Keldon Johnson

The class of 2018 has some pretty talented players that have yet to commit to a program. These players are going to be extremely important to the future of the team they choose.

Keldon Johnson is one of those players who is still trying to figure out what school he will attend in 2018. Illinois recently offered him a scholarship, but they aren’t the only team thinking highly of this talented player.

Right now, Johnson has 11 scholarship offers from some pretty talented teams. In addition to Illinois, some of the top programs who have offered him are Georgetown, Louisville and Xavier. If the Illini can pull him in it would be a great feat.

There is a reason Johnson has that many scholarship offers as well. He is a four-star recruit who is the No. 38 player in the class of 2018 and the No. 8 small forward in the nation. I really like his size as well. He stands at 6-foot-4, 210-pounds and is exactly what the Illini will be looking for in a player.

Illinois needs to stock up on wing players and Johnson fits that mold. He can play the No. 2 or No. 3 and giving Underwood options is great for the future of this program.
