The Illinois basketball team continues to recruit a wide variety of players for the future.

Most of these players played in the Nike EBYL this weekend and some of them shined bright. They performed well on the court which is one of the reasons why the Illini continue to push hard for their commitment.

There are a lot of areas the Illinois basketball team needs to focus on moving forward. They have a nice stable of guards right now, but when 2018 rolls around you never know who will be on the roster.

In addition to more guard help in the future, Illinois also needs a player to man the paint. They actually need that player in 2017, but there are recruits who can do the job in future classes.

I trust Brad Underwood completely in the recruiting game. He is a coach who has a proven winning track record and can develop players into winners. That is going to be huge for the Illini.

If Underwood can get a few of these young and talented kids, or potentially all of them, then the future will be extremely bright for this program on the rise.

Here is how the Illini recruits did this weekend in the EYBL.
