No. 5 Adam Miller – Class of 2020

The class of 2020 is a little ways away, but planning for the future is extremely important in college basketball. If you don’t plan then you might go years without a true point guard and then get fired.

There is already a talented player that Illinois is keeping an eye on and has already offered a scholarship for 2020. That player is Adam Miller.

Miller is a point guard out of Peoria, Illinois. He currently attends Manual High School. This is the same high school that both Frank Williams and Da’Monte Williams attended as well.

The rankings haven’t been released for 2020, but looking at how Illinois has already offered Miller and Kansas is keeping an eye on him, I assume he will be a high four-star or potentially a five-star recruit.

When Miller would come to the team, Te’Jon Lucas would have graduated and Trent Frazier would be a senior. That is all based on both of those players staying all four years.

That would leave the backup point guard spot open and Miller could come in and learn the game without having the pressure of being the man year one. Then in year two and beyond he could be the guy to lead this Illini team to national titles.

Underwood needs to continue to contact Miller and show him he is needed when the time comes. He is an important piece to the Illini puzzle.
