Illinois Football: Illini Recruiting Breakdown for 2017
To have a productive offense, the offensive line needs to be on point and be able to block. Building this line is going to be extremely important.
Zenden Dellinger could be a great solution to having a well-oiled offense.
Dellinger is a big offensive lineman standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 280-pounds. He is highly recruited and would be a nice pickup for the Illini.

Right now, 247Sports has Dellinger as a 3-star offensive tackle who is ranked as the No. 1,021 player in the class of 2017 and the No. 14 recruit in the state of Indiana.
This could be a tough get for the Illini, though.
Dellinger has his final four already cut down and the teams that made the list are South Florida, Cincinnati, Harvard, and Illinois.
I think Illinois might have a chance despite having an academic powerhouse in Harvard on Dellinger’s list.
Illinois can provide great academics, not up to Harvard standards, but they are still one of the best in the country. They can also provide a high level of football as well.

Hopefully, Lovie and his staff can snag Dellinger so the team can prosper on and off the football field.
