Illinois Football: Top 10 Illini Quarterbacks of All-Time

The Illinois football team has a history of great quarterbacks coming through Champaign.

They all were not good, though.  There have been some quarterbacks that have led this program through the darkest of times.

But, when the Illini get a special quarterback like Juice Williams or Jeff George, it is fun to watch and fans enjoy the winning.

With so many great quarterbacks coming through Illinois, it is hard to rank where each of them stands in history.

You can weigh many factors in the decision on where to slot each quarterback.

Some quarterbacks only had a few years in the program but were great at the time they played.

There were other quarterbacks who weren’t the best passers but could run the ball better than any player in the college game.

I have enjoyed watching a few of these players in my short time on this Earth.  They were special and helped make the team special as well.
