The Penn State Nittany Lions don’t exactly have a rich tradition of winning or producing talented players.  But, Patrick Chambers has done an okay job making them contenders in games, though.

Chambers comes in at the No. 12 spot because he is fighting an uphill battle that is honestly probably not going to come out in his favor.

Over the last three seasons, Chambers has failed to get over 18 wins but hasn’t fallen below 16 wins.  He has been consistently mediocre in his time with Penn State.

Chambers recruiting has also been a little suspect at times.

Penn State has only averaged having a recruiting ranking of 65th in the nation over the last three recruiting classes that have played.

If the recruiting isn’t there, the wins will surely not be there as well.  If Penn State wants to get back on the map they will need to recruit much better.

Chambers is also losing their top scorer and rebounder from last season as well.  Brandon Taylor averaged 16.3 PPG and 6.5 RPG and he will not be there to help the team.

Penn State is looking at another missed postseason and Chambers is looking at another losing season.
