The forward position is going to be suffering by the time the class of 2019 rolls around.  Illinois is going to need more size.

This is where Marcedus Leech would come into play.  He is a 6-foot-6, 170-pound forward right now entering his sophomore year in high school.  I assume he will continue to grow into roughly a 6-foot-9 big man.

Leech is going to be extremely important because Illinois will lack size in 2019.  They will hopefully have Culver as a junior who will anchor the middle of the paint.

If my wish list goes as planned that will be the case.

Besides for Culver, Illinois will hopefully have Finke who will end up being 6-foot-7 by the time he enters college.

This would make Leech an important player for the Illini to snag.

I love the handle that Leech possesses.  He can dribble well and as he grows into his body that will be a great asset to have.

Leech can also shoot the ball well.  He is clearly used to being the main scorer on his teams and that will come in handy with the Illini.

Getting Leech for 2019 is going to be one of the main priorities.  He is going to be special and hopefully the Illini can pull him out of Missouri.
