Illinois Basketball: Illini Recruiting Wish List
The final player that is on my wish list for the class of 2017 is point guard Trent Frazier. He has had the Illini high on his list for a while now.
Frazier is a great point guard from Wellington, Florida. He is ranked as a 4-star recruit that is now the 72nd best player in the class of 2017.
There was a recent interview done with Frazier and he mentioned two schools that were really after him, Florida and Illinois.
Frazier said that the Illinois coaching staff had the best relationship with him and that they take care of their players.

This is great news to hear for the Illini. They need more point guard depth and adding in Frazier would complete their solid lineup.
The point guard situation in 2017 is looking a little thin. It looks to only be Te’Jon Lucas right now.
Getting a point guard for 2017 is crucial, especially a player as good as Frazier.
Frazier can do a lot of things that impress me. He has a solid handle at times but can get a little wild as well. He will have to learn when to go into show stopper mode and when to be more of a distributor.
That then brings me to his distributing abilities.
Frazier is a phenomenal ball distributor that can create shots and produce offense. He is someone that will affect the offense purely with his passing ability.
The kicker about Frazier is that he is a great scorer as well. He can put up points with the best point guards in the class.
Illinois needs point guard help for 2017 and I think Frazier is the answer.
