Okay, so the first two players on my wish list have been in just about every recruiting article that I have written.

Jordan Goodwin is the second player on my list.  He is a forward who can play just about every position and can do anything on the basketball court.

The new Scout rankings have him as the 56th best player in the class of 2017.

More from Writing Illini

I have heard many programs that are interested in Goodwin, but the ones I keep hearing the most are Michigan State, Indiana, Texas, and Illinois.

I think the Illini can still snag Goodwin.  He has been on the Illini radar for a while and has said many great words about his relationship with the coaching staff.

Goodwin is actually the main player I want the Illini to get for 2017.  He is on my wish list because he is supremely talented.

I don’t think I have ever seen a player for the Illini that could do everything on the court.

Goodwin impresses me with his passing ability in the lane.  He can get into the lane to draw double teams and then find the open man for an easy three-pointer or to get the ball moving to get an open bucket.

Getting Goodwin should be No. 1 priority.  He is special and I think the Illini still have a chance.
