Illinois Basketball: Illini Recruits Nike EYBL Schedules This Weekend

Theo John (Howard Pulley)

The recruitment of Theo John has been kind of quiet.  Illinois offered him a scholarship and they seem like they are up there, but who knows.

I have also heard that Oklahoma was in the lead for this talented forward.

John is a 4-star recruit that has garnered a lot of recruiting attention and rightfully so.  He has done well in the EYBL.

Through 11 games, John has averaged 7.1 PPG and 5.7 RPG.  These are solid stats and I expect them to continue to improve.

The last two games have been the best for John.  He averaged 12 PPG and 14 PPG, respectively.

If Illinois can land John, he would provide size and skill in the paint for the Illini.
