Illinois Basketball: Illini Recruits Nike EYBL Schedules This Weekend

Da’Monte Williams (Mac Irvin Fire)

The only player that is committed out of the entire list of prospects is the class of 2017 guard, Da’Monte Williams.

Williams is a 4-star combo guard that is going to be a special talent for the Illini next year.

The EYBL hasn’t been terribly productive for Williams so far.  He missed out on session two because of an injury and didn’t play in session three because of school.

But, in session one Williams did well.  He averaged 9.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 2.4 APG.  These are solid stats and I look for his production to continue to increase.

I am hoping that Williams’ commitment to the Illini will entice other great prospects to join him.  They could make a special team in 2017.
