Nojel Eastern (Meanstreets)

A great player that is also a teammate of Verge’s on the Meanstreets is Nojel Eastern.

Eastern has played well in the EYBL season.  He isn’t a prime scorer but he is a guy who can pull down a decent amount of rebounds.

In the game one loss, Eastern put up 4 points and 3 rebounds in the 21 minutes he played.  One of the reasons that the Meanstreets were defeated was probably because Eastern didn’t play well.

Eastern played better in the second game of the session.  He put up 9 points and added in another 6 rebounds and 4 assists.  This was one of his better games in the EYBL circuit.

The final two games for Eastern and the Meanstreets went about the same as the first two games.

Eastern put up 8 points and 5 rebounds in game three.  He then put up 3 points and 3 rebounds in game four.

I expected Eastern to have a better session three, but he has been consistent over the three sessions that have been played.  He puts up okay points and shows his basketball value on the boards.

Adding Eastern to the Illini would give them more depth at forward.
