The Illinois basketball team needs point guard depth for the future and that is exactly what Alonzo Verge would bring to Champaign.
Verge is a pretty good point guard that would be a great addition to the Illini.

The final game for Verge was up there with the best of his EYBL season. He dropped 13 points in 22 minutes of play. He would also add in 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
Verge didn’t have a great session three, but he is productive in many ways. He can do a little bit of everything and that is a great asset.
