Justin Smith (Mac Irvin Fire)
The Mac Irvin Fire tried to get back on track this weekend but came up just short finishing 1-2 in the three games that they played.
There are multiple reasons why they only won one game this weekend and one of those reasons was because forward Justin Smith didn’t put up the production he has in the previous sessions.

Smith only hit 40-percent from the field in one game and failed to score ten points in any contest.
In game one, Smith finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds in a 93-78 loss to E1T1 United. While the points weren’t there, Smith still managed to affect the team positively with his rebounding.
The Mac Irvin Fire pulled off a win in game two over Houston Hoops, 76-66. Smith dropped 9 points and added another 7 rebounds.
In the final game of the weekend for Smith, he managed to score 9 points and 7 rebounds again. The Mac Irvin Fire fell short by one point in a 72-71 loss to Pro Skills.
Smith is on the Illini radar and he would be a welcomed addition. He might be streaky with scoring, but Illinois needs rebounding and Smith fits that bill.
