The Illinois basketball recruiting world is a scary place.  It is full of hope and promise but lately has been filled with extreme disappointment.

Even though the current regime has let some talented players slip through the cracks, there are still a good handful of recruits that have a chance to come to Champaign in the future.

There are some recruits that I have my eye on and hope will play for the Illini.  A lot of these guys played this weekend in the Nike EYBL.

There are seven players that Illinois is targeting that played this weekend in the EYBL.

All of these players are needed by the Illini and hopefully, we can get most of them to commit for 2017 and 2018.

Here is how the Illini recruits played this weekend.
