Nike EYBL

Jordan Goodwin (St. Louis Eagles)

Illinois is going after great players and I think St. Louis Eagles guard Jordan Goodwin is going to be that caliber.

Goodwin dominated the first session of the EYBL.  He averaged 14 PPG, 10 RPG and 4.7 APG.  His presence on the court is known by everyone and he is starting to gain interest from other schools.

The Illini need this type of player because he is a game changer.  I think Goodwin has the potential to be one of the best players on the team year one.

Illinois can’t miss on a player as good as Goodwin when they have him in their backyard.

Tim Finke (St. Louis Eagles)

A player that isn’t in the class of 2017 but has declared up an age level to play in this AAU league is Tim Finke.

Finke is Illinois’ target for 2018 and he is from Champaign.  He is a tremendous shooting guard that has potential to be a 5-star recruit when rankings start coming out.

In the first session Finke did okay.  He didn’t impress but he is very young and is still a great shooter.

Finke averaged 10 PPG and 4 RPG in that first session.  Now I expect him to improve in Indiana and start impressing the masses.
