SG Nojel Eastern

Next: Want No. 2

Like I mentioned earlier, Illinois is pretty much set at the shooting guard position and if you add in a player like Jordan Goodwin then the Illini are good to go.

More from Writing Illini

When you would add Goodwin the Illini would then have three talented shooting guards that can score at will.  There would be Goodwin, JCL and Jordan.

But I love depth, especially at shooting guard.  The more shooters on a team the more dangerous the team becomes.

This is the main reason why I want Nojel Eastern on the Illini for 2017.

Eastern is a 4-star shooting guard that is the 55th best player in the class.  From what I have seen and heard he is a great shooter that is going to do great things for whatever team he chooses.

When I look at Eastern’s game he reminds of a little of a bulkier Luther Head.  He has the athletic ability and he can shoot the three point shot.

Eastern’s ability is great and he would be a nice addition to the Illini.  He is a want right now but man do I want him on the Illini bad.
