Here is another case of an arrest of an Illinois basketball player.  This time it is Leron Black.

Black was arrested back in February for allegedly pulling a knife on a bouncer at a nightclub.

This arrest, like the other two, is still under the legal process and needs to be worked out before any guilty judgement is made.

This was a horrific decision by Black that has potential to get him kicked out of school, off the team, and even be put in jail.

There isn’t much to this case besides Black pulling a knife on a bouncer.  This is a serious offense and it should not be taken lightly.

With that said, I am no law expert but I feel like this might be pleaded down to a lesser charge.  I am assuming that he will accept so many hours of community service and will potentially be back with the team after a suspension.

I don’t think he will end up being off the team permanently.  Groce has shown he gives players a second chance and that is what I assume will happen here.

I think we will eventually get Black back, but with a much shorter leash for stupid.
