The college basketball season is a little past the halfway point and the Illinois basketball team isn’t even close to the NCAA Tournament.

Don’t worry Illinois fans, I am sad too and I wish things were a lot brighter in the Illinois basketball community. Things will get better eventually though.
While we flounder around over here in mediocrity there are also other teams that have struggled this season as well.
Some of these teams on this list have had amazing recruiting classes that not very many teams have ever had, but yet they are struggling a lot.
While it is currently doom and gloom for the Illini, there are other teams that are not shining too much as well.
I have even put one former Illinois head coach on this list for the failures he is bringing a different team. Illinois knows much about these failures from this past coach all too well.
