Top 5 Illinois Basketball and Football Recruiting Classes in the Last 15 Years

The #5 recruiting class over the last fifteen years goes to the Illinois football team in 2009.  This 2009 class had contributors that were great on both sides of the ball and then they took their talents into the NFL.

The 2009 recruiting class really helped keep Illinois competitive.  In their years with the Illini they ended up going to two bowl games and they actually won both of them.  One of the victories was against the future Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
