This pick is simple if you think about it. The Falcons need a linebacker and Martez Wilson is on the board. They might have taken an offensive lineman if Diehl or Allen were available, but that’s just not the case.
Wilson will be a nice fit for the Falcons, and will beef up a defense that needs to make a stand in 2014.
