The Oakland Raiders might not know who will be their quarterback for sure, but it’s always a great idea to draft guys who can help keep said QB upright in the pocket.
With Diehl off the board, Jeff Allen is the right pick for the Raiders in this draft.
Allen has a successful 2013 season with the Chiefs, and he would be able to bring that success over to Oakland (or so we’d hope). Take Allen and add him to Menelik Watson and Austin Howard, and that’s a pretty good start for the Raiders on the O-Line.
