The Illinois football team and their fans have a lot to look forward to this upcoming season.

Illinois has a new outlook on what to expect for 2018. They have a talented team full of youth and players wanting to put wins on the board. The more the players want it, the more the team wins and then the easier it is to recruit and bring in more talented players.

Getting to a bowl game is my goal for the upcoming season. I know it seems like a lofty goal considering what we saw last year. But, I believe in what I am seeing so far through training camp. I believe in the new quarterback who will lead the Illinois offense. I believe in the offensive line. I believe in what is happening with the defense as well.

The freshmen will be an important aspect of this Illini team too. They have new freshmen coming in as well as some who have been redshirted the year prior. There will be a lot of snaps coming from this freshman group. Each player will be important to this team as well.

Here are the five Illini freshmen who will make the biggest impact in 2018.
