The Illinois basketball team has produced some special classes over the last ten years.

These classes have gone on to make NCAA Tournaments, set records, and make special plays that all Illini fans will remember.

But, there have also been some bad classes that haven’t lived up to expectations or even were just plain bad as well.

There was even one year that Illinois didn’t land a single recruit.

No matter what, though, the Illini still managed to push through and give us some interesting basketball.

I expect recruiting classes in the future to be special for the Illini.  This list starts with the current class that Illinois has signed up for 2017.

This class might have more players coming in, but for right now I am basing it off what they have pledged right now.

These rankings also take into account for the average star rating and how well they did on the basketball court.

If a class didn’t do well and had a bad average star rating then they are probably lower on this list.  But, if a class had a high star rating and they did pretty well then you should expect them higher.

Here are the rankings for the Illinois recruiting classes for the last decade.
