Not often does a team get to remake a pick that they did in a past year’s draft, but that’s the case for the Houston Texans with the #1 overall pick.

Just like the real NFL Draft, there seems to be no Illinois pro that would really fill a need for Houston. Because of this, why not pick up one of the best Illini defensive ends and pick up a player that has served the Texans well in real life.

Last season, Mercilus was second on the team in sacks with seven on the year (first was JJ Watt – 10.5 sacks).
