Illinois Sports: Malcolm Hill signs contract with Philippine basketball team

The Illinois basketball team has missed the NCAA tournament over the last four years. But, they have had some decent players on the team.

Malcolm Hill was a special player on those teams. He has now signed on with a professional team to continue his basketball career.

David Wilhelm has more on Hill.

There aren’t a lot of people thinking this Illinois football team will be good in 2017. But, I think they do have a chance to shock the world.

Illinois is on the rise as a program and it is time to recognize the transformation. This program will be good this season and into the future.

Illinois had so many good defensive linemen. These players were special to the Illini team over the last four years and a few were even drafted.

Chunky Clements didn’t make the draft, though. But, he was just signed by an NFL team yesterday.

There are a lot of good freshman coming into the Illinois football team. These young players are the foundation for great teams to come.

A few of these talented freshmen have a chance to play immediately for the Illini. They will rely on these players in 2017.
