Christian Negron (Mac Irvin Fire)

Christian Negron is another member of the Mac Irvin Fire.  He is teammates with Smith and has similar traits as well.

The struggles for the Mac Irvin Fire not only have to do with Smith’s production, but Negron didn’t perform up to his previous games either.

The game one loss to E1T1 United was rough.  Negron finished shooting 28-percent from the field.  He only managed to put up 7 points and 5 rebounds.

Negron continued the struggles this weekend with 8 points and 2 rebounds in game two of session three.  The team won, but Negron still couldn’t get on track.

In the final game of session three, Negron finished with 4 points and 6 rebounds.  He didn’t have great production but he also didn’t see a ton of minutes.

The Mac Irvin Fire also struggled greatly because point guard Da’Monte Williams was once again out for session three.

In session two, Williams missed time with a foot injury.  He then sat out session three games because he wanted to focus on school.

I think things will turn around for the Mac Irvin Fire in session four.  Hopefully, we can see Illini recruits excel in the near future.
