2014 all purpose back Justin Jackson unofficially visited the Illinois Fighting Illini on May 11th. Jackson is currently one of the Top 10 recruits in the state of Illinois and one of the Top 5 all purpose backs.

Jackson currently has received offers from the Northwestern Wildcats, Boston College Eagles, Iowa Hawkeyes, Vanderbilt Commodores, Arizona State Sun Devils, California Golden Bears, Cincinnati Bearcats, Illinois Fighting Illini, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Missouri Tigers, Purdue Boilermakers, Syracuse Orange, and Toledo Rockets.

Oct. 27, 2012; Champaign, IL, USA; Illinois Fighting Illini cheerleaders after a touchdown by the Illini during the first half against the Indiana Hoosiers at Memorial Stadium.
The teams that Jackson’s heavily interested in are Northwestern, Boston College, Iowa, and Vanderbilt. Although, the Wildcats seem to be at the head of the pack.

The 247 Sports Crystal Ball currently has Northwestern as a 100% predicted spot to land the 2014 recruit.

Also, according to 247 Sports skills ratings, Jackson is a solid running back with 7s and 8s across the board.

However, his greatest skill is his change of direction.

After reviewing his film from 2012, Jackson might be quick and strong, but he avoids danger. He can avoid defenders simply by changing direction and it fools them every time. His only red flag is that he seems too concerned about defenders once he gets close to the endzone. Defenders will be MILES behind him, but he still is looking back.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 6th in the state of Illinois, 3rd among all purpose backs, and 172nd among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.

The Illinois native has offers from the Ball State Cardinals, Central Michigan Chippewas, Miami (OH) RedHawks, San Diego State Aztecs, Syracuse Orange, Toledo Rockets, Illinois Fighting Illini, and Western Michigan Broncos.

He is also receiving interest from the Iowa Hawkeyes, but they have not offered yet.

Brosnan is a 6’6″, 275 pound offensive tackle from Park Ridge, Illinois.

He is currently finishing up his junior year at Maine South High School.

The Maine South Hawks finished the 2012 regular season with a perfect 9-0 record before losing to the Glenbard North Panthers in the quarterfinals of the IHSA 8A Class Playoffs.

So far this offseason, Brendan Brosnan is doing everything right. He is receiving more and more interest from college teams and he also added 40 pounds to his body.

This 2014 recruit is currently unranked by 247 Sports, Rivals, and Scouts.

Terry McLaurin has offers from the Purdue Boilermakers, Ball State Cardinals, Cincinnati Bearcats, Toledo Rockets, and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

When looking at the film from his junior year, McLaurin has great hands, nice speed, and moves in the backfield. Most of his plays might be screens and hooks, but he can still take the top off the defense.

Also, when he runs, McLaurin does not use many moves after he catches the ball to run downfield. He’s not the player that will “juke you out of your shoes.” The only thing he will do is stiff arm you, but has the ability to just run right past defenders for touchdowns.

In 2012 as a junior, McLaurin recorded 820 receiving yards on 33 receptions and twelve receiving touchdowns. He also ran for 198 yards on sixteen carries and two rushing touchdowns. He has two special team touchdowns with two punt return touchdowns.
