Brandon Powell has offers from the LSU Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers, California Golden Bears, Cincinnati Bearcats, Duke Blue Devils, Illinois Fighting Illini, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Marshall Thundering Herd, Massachusetts Minutemen, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Northwestern Wildcats, Purdue Boilermakers, South Florida Bulls, Syracuse Orange, West Virginia Mountaineers, Western Michigan Broncos, and Wisconsin Badgers.

The teams receiving the most interest from Powell are Florida State, LSU, and Tennessee. The Seminoles have not offered at him, but should be a team to watch during Powell’s recruitment.

It looks like the recruit is favoring staying in state early on, but could venture out to southeast teams.

Powell is a 5’10″, 171 pound athlete from Deerfield Beach, Florida. As an all purpose back in 2012, he recorded 1,180 rushing yards, thirteen rushing touchdowns, four receiving touchdowns, two punt return touchdowns, and two kick return touchdowns.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 103rd in the state of Florida and 63rd among athletes in the Class of 2014 by 247Sports.

The running back from Orlando currently has offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes, Ohio State Buckeyes, Arizona Wildcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers, California Golden Bears, Cincinnati Bearcats, Clemson Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Georgia Bulldogs, Illinois Fighting Illini, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Marshall Thundering Herd, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Mississippi State Bulldogs, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, South Carolina Gamecocks, South Florida Bulls, Tennessee Volunteers, Central Florida Knights, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, Vanderbilt Commodores, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

Even though he is a sophomore, Patrick will be hard to get for the Fighting Illini to land.

His top teams at the moment include: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Miami, and Ohio State. Based on these teams, one could assume that he wants to be apart of a winning program. If Illinois wants to at least have a slight chance at Patrick, they will need to win football games this upcoming season.

Patrick is a 6’1″, 200 pound running back from Orlando, Florida. He is currently a sophomore at Timber Creek High School. In 2012, he ran for 2,032 yards on 231 carries and twenty-nine touchdown. He also caught two passes that went for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

Brown Jr. has also received some early interest from the Duke Blue Devils, Florida State Seminoles, Iowa Hawkeyes, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Ohio State Buckeyes, Virginia Tech Hokies, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

The Big Ten as a conference has shown some early interest in him.

Right now, he has five Big Ten teams interested in him with one offer. However, he did attend the Purdue Boilermakers’ Junior Day on February 24th.

Even though it is VERY early in Brown Jr.’s recruiting, one team to look out for will be the Virginia Tech Hokies. This is because he has family ties to Virginia Tech. George’s older brother, Aaron Brown, was an offensive tackle for the Hokies in the mid-to-late 2000′s.

Brown Jr. is a 6’6″, 253 pound tight end from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently a sophomore at Colerain High School.
