Gridiron Wrap

Similar to Writing Illini’s Sunday Morning feature that recaps the week’s news on the Illini basketball team, the Gridiron Wrap does the same thing, this time on Saturdays and for the football team.

The Gridiron Wrap will be moved to the middle of the week (under the name Cram Session) once the season officially starts.

  • November 12-18, 2010: Illinois is still looking for the season’s sixth win as they head to Wrigley Field in Chicago to take on the Northwestern Wildcats in the annual instate rivalry.
  • November 5-11, 2010: The Illini attempt to move on from the disappointment of the Michigan game and prepare Minnesota while this Thursday Cram Session also looks into Senior Day 2010.
  • October 29-November 4, 2010: Illinois attempts to extend its win streak over a struggling Wolverines team while the team enjoys owning the Purdue Cannon for the first time since 2003.
  • October 22-28, 2010: Scheelhaase fights through his injury in preparation for Purdue while Illinois enjoys its turnaround success in this edition of Thursday Cram Session.
