The All-America honor is also Thomas Detry’s first of his career. Detry is currently ranked 12th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. The Illinois sophomore had nine Top 25 finishes and recorded fifteen rounds under par.
As for Danielson, the All-America honor is the second one of his career as he was an honorable mention in 2013. As a sophomore, he posted four Top 5 finishes and nine Top 25 finishes. Danielson was also a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection.
