The Illinois Fighting Illini continue to work hard on their 2015 recruiting class by targeting some of the best talent from across the country. This time, they did so by playing host to Texas wide receiver A.D. Miller this past weekend.

Illinois is the 27th team and fifth Big Ten team to offer at the Dallas, Texas native. So far, Miller has offers from Arizona State, BYU, California, Colorado, UCONN, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Oregon State, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Washington, and Washington State.

However, the Miami Hurricanes seem to be the early favorites when it comes to the Dallas recruit. The 247Sports Crystal Ball predicts Miller to commit to Miami (FL) when his recruitment is all said and done.

A.D. Miller is a very talented wide receiver. He’s a deep ball threat on the outside and down the middle of the field. He has excellent hands and is a great route runner.

At 6’3″, Miller contains the height that top end teams want at the WR position. The only knock against the Dallas receiver is his size. Miller weighs 195 pounds. If he could bulk up by 10-15 pounds, he could be a top talent receiver on any DI team.

In 2013, A.D. Miller caught 34 passes for 482 yards and ten touchdowns.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 132nd in the state of Texas, 132nd among wide receivers, and 1,089th among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
