Illinois Fighting Illini Football Recruiting: Adam Lemke-Bell Receives Illini Offer

On Thursday, Tim Beckman and company extended an offer to 2015 offensive tackle Adam Lemke-Bell. Lemke-Bell is ranked as one of the Top 100 OTs from the 2015 recruiting class.

Illinois is the eighteenth team and fourth Big Ten team to offer at the Oak Park, Illinois native.

Per 247Sports, Lemke-Bell is leaning towards playing his college ball in the state of Illinois, but not for the Illinois Fighting Illini. He is currently the most interested in the Northwestern Wildcats.

Right now, the 247Sports Crystal Ball has Adam Lemke-Bell committing to the Wildcats when it’s all said and done. All five of the recruiting experts are coming up purple on the Crystal Ball.

One thing is clear when it comes to the offensive linemen that the Illinois Fighting Illini have offered at as of late. That is that Tim Beckman and company are looking to add beef to their O-line.

The past few offensive linemen to receive offers from Illinois have been 6’5″+ and 275+ pounds. Adam Lemke-Bell fits that mold as he stands at 6’5″, but he only weighs 255 pounds.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 18th in the state of Illinois, 87th among offensive tackles, and 811th among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
