Illinois Fighting Illini Baseball Lands Six on All-Big Ten Teams

You know you’re fielding a successful team when 6 members of that team are awarded all conference honors.

Today, the Illinois Fighting Illini baseball program tweeted out award announcements regarding players on their roster in multiple tweets.

For those that don’t have twitter, the usernames above translate to the following six players: catcher Jason Goldstein, shortstop Adam Walton, outfielder Will Krug, starting pitcher John Kravetz, relief pitcher Tyler Jay, and outfielder Casey Fletcher.

These players led the Illini to a 17-7 Big Ten record this season, good for 3rd place in the final league standings, and an overall mark of 31-19.

Writing Illini would like to congratulate all of them on their success, and wish the entire Illini roster well in their upcoming opening round Big Ten Tournament game against Michigan State at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning in Omaha, Nebraska.
