Ryan Lankford Signs Undrafted Free Agent Contract With The Miami Dolphins

Former Illinois Wide Receiver Ryan Lankford has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins per his Twitter feed.

Lankford finished his career at Illinois with 70 receptions for 1014 yards and 7 touchdowns. He also rushed the ball 13 times for 48 yards and 1 touchdown which you can see in the video below.

His largest asset is his speed. If defensive backs give him any type of space he is more than capable of making them pay, just like his first collegiate touchdown as a true freshman.

With any luck, Lankford will be making another of these videos in the very near future, but instead of talking about college, he will be talking about what it feels like to score a touchdown at the highest level a player can reach in the sport of football.

Congrats, Ryan! Illini Nation will be watching and wishing you nothing but success on your road to making the Miami Dolphins roster.
