Illinois Fighting Illini Football Recruiting: Illinois Extends Offer To 2016 Stewart Reese

As of late, the Illinois Fighting Illini have been putting in some much needed early work in on the 2016 recruiting class. On Friday, the Illini continued that hard work by extending an offer towards 2016 offensive tackle Stewart Reese.

Illinois is only the third team and first Big Ten team to offer at the Fort Pierce, Florida native. So far, he has offers from Illinois, Miami (FL), and UCF.

One thing is clear when it comes to the past few offensive linemen that the Fighting Illini have offered at as of late. That is that Tim Beckman and company are looking to add beef to their O-line.

The past few offensive linemen to receive offers from Illinois have been 6’5″+ and 275+pounds. Stewart Reese definitely fits that mold as he stands at 6’6″, 315 pounds.

It’s interesting to point out that Reese is a Florida recruit and fits the Florida “pipeline” that Tim Beckman has been known for.

This past March, Reese attended the 2014 Nike Football Training Camp in Miami.
