On Wednesday, Tim Beckman and company extended an offer to 2015 defensive back Carlton Davis. Davis is ranked as one of the Top 100 cornerbacks from the 2015 recruiting class.

Illinois is just the nineteenth team and first Big Ten team to offer at Davis. So far, the Miami defensive back has offers from Illinois, Miami (FL), Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Duke, Clemson, UConn, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Florida, FIU, Florida, and Florida Atlantic.

Per 247Sports, Carlton Davis is heavily interested in Miami (FL) and South Carolina.

Right now, the 247Sports Crystal Ball doesn’t have the Miami, Florida native leaving his home state. The majority (75%) of the recruiting experts predict him to commit to the Miami Hurricanes.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 110th in the state of Florida, 70th  among cornerbacks, and 887th among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
