After extending offers to some 2016 recruits last week, the Illinois Fighting Illini continued their “early” approach on the Class of 2016 by offering at in-state wide receiver Emmanuel Rugamba on Monday.
Illinois became the very first college team to extend an offer to the Naperville Central wide receiver. Per 247Sports, the two teams showing interest in him at the moment are Illinois and Michigan.
After looking at his film, Emmanuel Rugamba is a very versatile receiver due to the fact that he can lineup anywhere on the field. He also contains the type of speed to either get open on the outside or down the middle of the field.
However, that’s not all when it comes to Rugamba. When it comes to his speed on the field, the 2016 wide receiver is a quality option in the screen game as well.
He’s also got impeccable ball vision as a wideout. As he runs down the field, he does a really nice job of locating the ball in the air in order to come down with the catch.
