Illinois Fighting Illini Football Recruiting: Michael Weber Unofficially Visits Illinois

On Saturday, the Illinois Fighting Illini played host to numerous football recruits from both the 2015 and 2016 recruiting classes. One of those recruits was 2015 running back Michael Weber.

Weber currently holds a total of eleven offers at this point in time. Those teams include: Illinois, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Kentucky, North Carolina State, Nebraska, Purdue, and Syracuse.

Per 247Sports, the Detroit native is the most interested in Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Right now, the 247Sports Crystal Ball doesn’t have Michael Weber leaving the state of Michigan at the end of his recruitment. Twenty-four of the twenty-eight experts are predicting the Cass Technical running back to give his verbal to the Michigan State Spartans.

There’s no doubt that Michael Weber would be an absolute steal if he decided to give his verbal to the Fighting Illini. He has impeccable vision along with great build, speed, and tackle breaking ability.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd in the state of Michigan, 11th among running backs, and 96th among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
