On Saturday, the Illinois Fighting Illini played host to numerous football recruits from both the 2015 and 2016 recruiting classes. One of those recruits was 2015 offensive tackle Joshua Alabi.

Alabi currently holds a total of nine offers at this point in time. Those teams include: Illinois, Michigan State, Tennessee, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Akron, Michigan, Nebraska, and Penn State.

Per 247Sports, the Detroit native is the most interested in Michigan State, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Wisconsin.

Right now, the 247Sports Crystal Ball doesn’t have Joshua Alabi leaving the state of Michigan at the end of his recruitment. Eleven of the twelve experts are predicting the Cass Technical offensive tackle to give his verbal to the Michigan State Spartans.

Although he is listed as an offensive tackle, Alabi played both ways at Cass Technical in Detroit. It will be interesting to see whether Tim Beckman will recruit the Michigan “iron man” as a offensive or defensive player.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 9th in the state of Michigan, 62nd among offensive tackles, and 531st among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
