Illinois Fighting Illini Football Recruiting: Cody Conway Unofficially Visits Illinois

On Saturday, the Illinois Fighting Illini played host to numerous football recruits from both the 2015 and 2016 recruiting classes. One of those recruits was 2015 offensive tackle Cody Conway.

Conway currently holds a total of three offers at this point in time. Those teams include: Illinois, Syracuse, and Western Michigan.

Right now, the 247Sports Crystal Ball doesn’t have Cody Conway leaving the state of Illinois. All three of the experts are predicting the Plainfield North offensive tackle to give his verbal to the Illinois Fighting Illini.

Although he is not one of the top ranked recruits from the Class of 2015, Cody Conway would be a quality commitment for Tim Beckman and company. This is because, at 6’6″, 280 pounds, Conway contains the size and frame that Coach Beckman is looking for in an offensive tackle.

This past week, Illinois either offered or visited three different offensive tackles from the 2015 recruiting class. Every single one of them was 6’5″ or taller and weighed 270+. Tim Beckman has his image for his future OTs, and this is it.
