Although they missed the NCAA Tournament, the Illinois Fighting Illini made some progression during the 2013-14 season. It was a season where the Illini could have given up after losing eight straight Big Ten games.

Instead, the Fighting Illini banded together and finished the season with an overall record of 19-14 and a Big Ten conference record of 7-11.

This year had its exciting and not-so-exciting memories. Here are my top 5 moments from the ’13-’14 season from the Illinois Fighting Illini.
