As one of the first 2014 recruits to commit to the Illinois Fighting Illini following last year’s National Signing Day, Tito Odenigbo officially plans to begin his college career in Champaign after signing his Letter of Intent today with the Illini. The defensive tackle from Dayton, Ohio wants to get to work, but also wants to have some fun in the process.
If my college football experience isn't exactly like Blue Mountain State, I'm going to be heavily disappointed

Odenigbo has a tremendously high motor, and should bring some strength and athleticism to the Fighting Illini. However, his size will definitely be a question mark as the young DT begins his college career.
Here’s the skinny on Tito Odenigbo:
- Rivals, SCOUT, ESPN, 24/7 – 3 Star DT, Top 100 (OH)
- ESPN – Strength trait
- Southwest Ohio Super 25 Defense
- Younger brother of Northwestern’s Ifeadi Odenigbo
There’s no doubt that Tim Beckman and company are getting a very strong and tough defensive lineman with Tito Odenigbo. This along with his high motor is a major plus.
Per ESPN, the bottom line on the Dayton native is:
“Not as flashy and dynamic a prospect as his older brother was, but this is a tough, strong prospect who can be a steady and productive presence in the trenches for an FBS D-Line.”
