On Monday, ESPN announced all the game times for its Super Tuesday schedule for the 2014 men’s college basketball season. ESPN Super Tuesday will showcase a game from the Big Ten and the SEC each Tuesday beginning January 7.
The Illinois Fighting Illini will host Big Ten foe Michigan at the State Farm Center on Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. Central Time.
Last season against the Wolverines, the Illini were unable to win a single game. However, Michigan will be without their two most powerful stars from a season ago (Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr.). However, Illinois will be without point guard Brandon Paul.
According to fightingillini.com, “The ESPN weekly doubleheader will tip-off at 6 p.m. CT, followed by an 8 p.m. game. The Big Ten and the SEC will play conference matchups, switching timeslots on varying weeks, through the nine-week series that wraps up March 4.”
