Wisconsin Football Recruiting: Michael Deiter Visits Illinois

2014 offensive guard Michael Deiter unofficially visited the Illinois Fighting Illini on May 25th.

Deiter currently has received offers from the Wisconsin Badgers, Bowling Green Falcons, Illinois Fighting Illini, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Toledo Rockets, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

The Ohio native has named the Wisconsin Badgers as his official favorite. He named the Badgers his leader on April 29th (which was just two days before Illinois offered at him).

The 247 Sports Crystal Ball currently has Wisconsin as an 100% predicted spot to land the 2014 recruit.

Deiter is a 6’6″, 300 pound offensive lineman from Genoa, Ohio. He is currently a junior at Genoa Area High School.

The Genoa Area Comets finished the 2012 season with an overall record of 11-1 and a conference record of 7-0. They made it to the Division IV Ohio State Playoffs, but lost in the second round to Ottawa-Glandorf, 41-12.

This 2014 recruit is currently unranked by 247 Sports, Rivals, and Scouts.
