2014 tight end Cole Cook received an offer from the Illinois Fighting Illini on May 17th. This was Cook’s third offer of the week as Georgia State and Western Kentucky offered at him as well.
The Georgia recruit has received offers from the Mississippi Bulldogs, Missouri Tigers, North Carolina State Wolfpacks, Appalachian State Mountaineers, Boston College Eagles, Cincinnati Bearcats, Georgia State Panthers, Illinois Fighting Illini, Troy Trojans, Central Florida Knights, and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
Right now, it seems that Cook is most interested in Mississippi State, Missouri, and North Carolina State.
Cole Cook is a big receiving tight end. He stands tall at 6’6″. He uses his size the grab passes over the middle and can snag passes towards the sideline as well.
Although, Cole is an effective blocker as well. He uses his size to push over defenders and move immediately up field. He is the best at blocking screens, but can block on the line too.
The three-star recruit is currently ranked 42nd in the state of Georgia and 12th among tight ends by 247Sports.
