Western Kentucky Football Recruiting: Illinois Offers Kadeem Goulbourne

The Illinois Fighting Illini extended out another offer on May 9th. The latest offer from Champaign was to 2014 wide receiver Kadeem Goulbourne. Goulbourne has an 82 rating on 247 Sports and is in the top 200 among wide receivers and Florida recruits.

The three-star Fort Lauderdale, Florida native currently has received offers from the Akron Zips, Appalachian State Mountaineers, Illinois Fighting Illini, South Alabama Jaguars, and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

Although he hasn’t received offers from them, two teams that could offer at this Florida recruit at some point are the Kentucky Wildcats and the Miami (FL) Hurricanes.

At this point in time, Goulbourne seems to have the Wildcats out in front (even though they haven’t offered yet). He visited the Wildcats for a Junior Day in February.

When it comes to the Miami Hurricanes, Goulbourne has a family connection in South Beach. Even though the Canes have yet to offer, I would not be surprised if they made a move for Goulbourne because of his family connection to the team.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 156th in the state of Florida  and 159th among wide receivers by 247Sports.
