The Illinois Fighting Illini have decided to move their games on Friday against the Indiana Hoosiers to Saturday, April 20th.
The Illini and the Hoosiers will now play a doubleheader on Saturday with the first game starting at 1:00 p.m. and the second game starting around 3:00 p.m. The decision by Illinois to move the games came after the university took a look at the weather forecast.
The Illinois Fighting Illini are looking to get back on track this weekend. They have lost their last nine games and are 1-13 in their last fourteen games. Illinois was swept by Minnesota in their last series.
The Hoosiers are coming into this weekend with a losing streak of their own. They have lost their last four games and are 1-5 in their last six games.
Indiana is currently tenth in the Big Ten with a 3-10 conference record.
The University of Illinois announced that the Daddy/Daughter Date Night promotion scheduled for Friday will be cancelled, but the other weekend promotions will not be cancelled. They will still have “Bark in the Park” and “Kids Take Over the Ballpark” planned for this weekend.
