South Carolina Football Recruiting: Madre London Receives Offer From Illinois

On April 3rd, 2014 running back Madre London received an offer from the Illinois Fighting Illini. The Illini are the seventh team to offer at London, but are the first Big Ten team to do so.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native has received offers from the South Carolina Gamecocks, Boston College Eagles, Cincinnati Bearcats, Illinois Fighting Illini, Kansas Jayhawks, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The two teams that are at the top of his list include the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Arkansas Razorbacks. However, Arkansas has yet to offer at the 2014 RB.

The only teams that he has visited are Miami (FL) and Arkansas. He attended Arkansas’ camp on July 21, 2012 and he unofficially visited the Hurricanes on March 28th.

As a junior in 2012, London recorded 430 rushing yards on 84 carries and five rushing touchdowns. He also runs a 4.56 40-yard dash (Source: 247 Sports).

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 153rd in the state of Florida and 85th among running backs among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports. He was also rated 81 by 247 Sports at the beginning of March.
